Hello all, my name is Stuart Fickling. I'm a graphic designer living in the lovely fenland town of Ely, cambridgeshire. Married to Vicki a.k.a socklady (she makes sock creatures out of well....socks). Not mine though! We have a 1972 VW campervan called 'Bella', which we have little adventures here and there. Mostly to the north norfolk coast and to loads of VW shows. All these will 'hopefully' be blogged about. I enjoy surfing and snowboard with trips to the big freezers known as indoor ski slopes and we try to get away each year. Surfing is a bit easier but, again you need the waves, they dont come along too often. So, we head to the south west when we can.
Then, there is my stunning daughter 'Saffron' - a typical teenager all phones, internet, music and boys. Head down, fingers speeding across her phone and if she doesn't get online she starts to worry that she is missing something. But, shes a teenager and she still hugs her 'ol dad' and long my it continue.
I love great design in everything. Sun on my face while pobbing in the sea between sets. Snow on my face after stacking it in the snow and going for walks with my beautiful wife - who has made me so happy and complete.
